SUMMERY

Drives tank truck to deliver propane with capacity of more than three tons to customers by performing the following duties.

Valid Arizona Commercial Driver’s License with Hazmat Certification required. Training may be provided to otherwise qualified candidates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, as well as other duties as assigned:

• Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
• Positions blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo during transit.
• Loads and unloads truck.
• Drives truck to destination, safely delivers liquid propane gas and dispenses into the tanks as required.
• Collects payment for L.P. Gas delivered as required.
• Maintains truck log, according to state and federal regulations.
• Maintains daily log, according to state and federal regulations.
• Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor and propane commercial representative to receive delivery instructions.
• Other duties may include Water Department assignments including scheduled after hours’ coverage. Click for more info
